Cartier earrings, Caresse D'Orchides collection

A pair of earrings signed by Maison Cartier, Caresse D'Orchidées collection. The platinum orchid floral designs are set with 282 quality round brilliant cut diamonds: DEF VVS1-VVS2 and a total weight of 3.75 carats. The dangling and removable drops are made of rubellite (red tourmaline). Each earring measures 32mm high by 25mm wide. Appearing for the first time at the end of the 1920s at Cartier, orchids have since been one of the flagship symbols of the House. Made in France in the 2000s.
