Photo holder medallion in yellow gold, red enamel and pearl

PHOTO HOLDER MEDALLION In 18k yellow gold, centered with a red enamel medallion bordered by a scalloped breeze and topped with three small pearls. It is surrounded by an openwork frieze. On the back, it opens and reveals a small secret compartment to keep a photo. Early 20th century period. French work, possible maker's mark of Charles Challot, jeweler at Maisons Alfort (mark registered from 1908 to 1927).   Dimensions: approximately 4.5 x 2.3 cm (bail included). Gross weight: 6.0 g (18k gold – 750/1000 – eagle’s head hallmark). STATE : The pendant is in perfect condition, both the enamel and the gold, or the closure system at the back which works perfectly well. The small beads are of different diameters, falling and have been glued to avoid losing them. Two small, minimal dents on the back of the lid, barely visible.
