Platinum dome ring (hallmark: mascaron), set in its center with 4 old-style cut diamonds, the weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.70 Ct (estimated color I to J, estimated clarity SI), in a surround of rose-cut diamonds the total weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.15 Ct. Art Deco work, circa 1935. Gross weight: 6.57g Ring size: 57 (diameter 18.25/ US 8.00) Pattern height: 1.20 cm Condition: micro scratches on the gold and platinum parts, slight wear on the setting, natural inclusions in the diamonds, some shocks on the diamonds, see photos. The Art Deco movement, short for “Decorative Arts”, was born around 1910. It reached its peak in the 1920s and then declined in the 1930s. In reaction to the rounded and organic shapes of Art Nouveau, this “Roaring Twenties” style developed geometric and refined forms. All our antique rings.
