Belle Epoque emerald and diamond flower ring
Antique ring in 18kt yellow gold and platinum (hallmarks: owl and mascaron), decorated with floral motifs holding a square emerald with cut sides weighing approximately 0.60 Ct, in a surround of old-cut and rose-cut diamonds and two round emeralds. Emerald certified as natural and of Colombian origin (Carat Gem Lab Paris certificate) with minor impregnation noted. Total weight of diamonds estimated at approximately 0.40Ct Work from the beginning of the 20th century, Belle Epoque. Gross weight: 5.53g Pattern height: 2.20 cm Ring size: 53 (diameter 17.00 / US 6.50). Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold and platinum parts, natural inclusions and abrasion in/on the stones, see photos. Emeralds sometimes have so-called three-phase inclusions (because they contain liquid, gas in the form of bubbles and salt crystals).
