Old diamond garter ring
Garter ring in 18Kt yellow gold and silver (hallmarks: owl and swan), set with five rose-cut diamonds mounted on a paillon. The total weight of the diamonds is estimated at approximately 0.30Ct. 18th Century work. Gross weight: 2.40g Ring size: 55 (diameter 17.50/ US 7.15). Height: 0.40cm Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold and silver parts, oxidation of the tinsel, abrasions and shocks on the diamonds, natural inclusions in the diamonds, see photos. The pink size is one of the first faceted cuts of the diamond , developed in the 16th century. It is composed of 3 to 24 triangular facets arranged in a dome on a flat base. All our antique rings.
