Marguerite engagement ring in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum (hallmark: eagle's head), decorated in its center with an oval cabochon sapphire of 6.32 carats (probable origin: Ceylon), in a surround of rose-cut diamonds, the total weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.40 carat. French work, Edwardian, circa 1900. Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold and platinum parts, light wear of the setting, natural inclusions, shocks, and abrasion in/on the stones, see photos.
