Nummus Roman coin ring
18kt rose gold ring (hallmark: owl) decorated with an ancient Roman copper coin. The coin, a "centenionalis" or "nummus", presents on the obverse a globe surmounted by three stars placed on an altar and surrounded by the maxim "Beata Tranquilitas" (Happy Tranquility). The reverse reveals the profile of Crispus, Roman emperor of the 4th century (317-326), haloed with the words "Crispus Nobilissimus Caesar" (Crispus most Noble Caesar). Artisanal work, handmade in Paris by our workshop, contemporary.
