Delicate Savoyard hoop earrings in 18kt yellow, white and green gold (eagle's head hallmark) decorated with finely carved flowers. Regional French work (Savoie) from the first part of the 20th Century. Gross weight: 5.55 g Height: 3.00 cm Width: 2.50 cm Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold parts, see photos. These creoles, also called Tarines, are traditional earrings from Savoy. They appeared under the Second Empire during the annexation of the region to France.
