Garland brooch in yellow gold, silver, fine pearls, enamel and diamonds
Antique brooch in gold, silver, fine pearls and diamonds Round shaped corsage brooch in 18k (750°/°°) gold and silver set with four Old Mine cut diamonds at the 4 cardinal points for a total weight of approximately 2 carats, as well as a central diamond of approximately 0.8 carat. The side stones are lighter in color (H_I) and have purities ranging from VS2 to P1. All are eye-clean. The stones were likely cut before the jewel was made in a period from the end of the 18th century to the first part of the 19th century. A central articulated garland holds a round motif composed of fine pearls and diamonds. The two side garlands have a symmetrical falling motif. This is probably French work from the end of the 19th century. Dimensions: 3.3 x 6 cm Gross weight: 19.2 grams
