This version in beige gold, sublimated by a bezel set with diamonds, is distinguished by its tweed motif strap, directly inspired by the emblematic symbols of the House of Chanel and its must-have jackets: a hammering of the gold creating a play of relief and texture that dresses the wrist.
The rectangular case with its bevelled corners echoes the Chanel universe: the rigorous lines of Place Vendôme, the evocation of the cabochon of Chanel n°5 perfume, the purity of lines and a certain idea of Parisian elegance. The Boy-Friend also owes its elegance to its clear, uncluttered, guilloché dial.

History
The Boy-Friend collection was launched by Chanel in 2015, almost thirty years after the Première (1987), which was the House's first watch. This new line brings a modernized, more structured vision of watchmaking.
It was born against a backdrop of Chanel's reaffirmation of watchmaking, with a model that borrows its structure and minimalism from masculine traits, while retaining an assumed femininity that is elegant and timeless.
The name Boy-Friend is therefore not insignificant, evoking both the masculine wardrobe dear to Gabrielle Chanel, with the idea of appropriating a "man's" watch, and an elegance liberated from convention.
