Necklace BELLE EPOQUE Knot in paltinium and emerald
Necklace in paltinium (>850°/°°) composed of a chain holding a knotted ribbon motif, surmounted by a flower and holding a leafy motif forming an oval garland, the whole set with diamonds antique cut in slight fall. An emblematic motif of the Belle-Epoque, this pendant combines the Louis XVI ribbon and the garland of diamonds, signature of the eponymous style in vogue in Paris around 1910. The light, openwork setting highlights the diamonds and the large emerald cabochon, which adds volume and verticality to the jewel.17 x 10 x 10 mm, the pear-shaped emerald cabochon is a deep green with beautiful saturation. The garden is visible to the naked eye, and the emerald has a large amount of frost on the back of the cabochon, making it invisible when worn. The emerald's weight is estimated at 8 to 10 carats. Old-cut diamonds emeralds weigh around 5 to 6 carats (H to J, VVS to Piqué), with no inclusions visible to the naked eye. The largest stone alone weighs approximately 0.6 carats (I SI1).Presence of the mascaron hallmark for second-hand pieces in paltinium.Pendant dimensions: 5.7 x 3.6 cmChain length: 41 cmWeight: 17, 96 grams------------------------------Necklace Knot in paltinium set with a cabochon pear emerald and diamonds antique cut.
